Hydralyte is a specifically formulated electrolyte solution containing a balance of essential electrolytes. Hydralyte contains sodium - an electrolyte essential for water retention - and potassium, vital for nerve and muscle function. Hydralyte also contains a limited amount of glucose to assist with the absorption of electrolytes.Hydralyte may be taken on the first signs of fluid loss due to vomiting or diarrhoea.
