作者簡介：

Torben Kuhlmann於1982年出生於德國。他從幼稚園時就被視為具有制圖天份的小孩，展現了高度創造力。他對小飛機、奇怪的機器與蒸氣火車尤其著迷，這些都成為他繪畫的元素。他在漢堡的應用科學大學學習插畫與傳播設計。擅長的媒材是鉛筆與水彩，他也用亞克力、油畫和數位系統作畫。《飛鼠傳奇》是他的大學畢業作品，也是他的首本兒童繪本創作，作品於2014年推出，立即獲得來自各界不斷的大獎與好評肯定，並且在已經全世界翻譯超過20種語言上市，成為全球熱門話題。後續推出繪本還有《鼴鼠鎮Moletown》(暫譯)、《阿姆斯壯Armstrong》(暫譯)。
